California Service Center received my documents - 11/5/06

Check was cashed - 11/7/06

Received my NOA - 11/22/06

Biometrics - 11/25/06 and scheduled for 12/5/06

Received an email that Card Production has been ordered - 2/6/2007

Received an email that I-751 approval notice was sent - 2/12/2007

Received my permanent (10 yr) green card in the mail box today!!! - 2/15/07

I am so happy! You guys have no idea. Good luck with all your cases and petitions. This forum really helped me so much in preparing my I-751 petition plus all the documents I presented. Thank you to all the wonderful members and moderators. God Bless!

Here's the list of things I sent for the I-751:

Copy of my conditional green card and my passport

Copy of my military ID (my husband used to be in the Navy)

Copy of both of our drivers licenses showing the same address

Affidavit from a friend in the Navy

Notarized affidavit from a friend in the area

Copy of 2005-2006 lease agreement for the room we used to rent

Copy of 2006 - onwards lease agreement for the apartment we’re renting

Copy of receipt/invoice for the car we purchased with both of our names

Copy of DMV’s car registration where both of our names can be found

Copy of 2005 tax return filed jointly

Copy of life insurance policy where my husband is the beneficiary

Copy of the health insurance (COBRA) policy from the Navy showing I was part of his health plan

Copy of joint checking and savings account bank statements

Copy of our actual Washington Mutual debit cards

Copy of a joint loan we got from Wells Fargo

Copies of our common utilities showing our names and address: cable bills , fridge rental, electricity

Copy of our joint Costco card membership

4 pictures as a couple taken from different places

3 pictures from my cousin’s 10 year birthday party we both attended

12/23/2006 I-751 returned because I sent $275. They only wanted $205.

12/26/2006 Remailed

12/27/2006 Received at CSC

12/29/2006 Check for $205 cashed

01/10/2007 We received NOA with extension.

01/11/2007 We received notice of Biometric Appointment for 1/23/2007

01/23/2007 Biometrics taken

I still have it. They never asked me to return it. Besides, it has an expiration date because its just conditional so it doesn't really matter if you keep it or not.
