NVC to Embassy

Hi there!

I am really upset I called NVC today to get my case number and realized that my case was sent to the London Embassy instead of the Lagos Embassy how is this possible when I clearly had the Lagos Embassy on my application as the Embassy of choice.... Has anyone ever been in this same situation what should I expect to happen now??

You might have put Lagos as your embassy of choice, but what was the address on the I-129f? If in the UK, that's why it went to London. If you listed a Nigerian address, then I suggest contacting NVC again. I believe though you'll ultimately have to send a request to the embassy in London to send it to Lagos.

As at when I applied I was living in London but I did put the Lagos embassy as consulate of choice any advice on what next now

Sounds like you'll have to ask the London embassy to send it to Lagos.
