Hello again to everyone........

I've copied all of the evidence of us meeting (boarding passes, hotel receipts, flight tickets etc etc) and now I am considering how I should highlight the relevant information to make it easy for the USCIS guy (or gal) to assess it all.

So how have other people done this? I was thinking of just circling the pertinent info with pen and writing captions on there or using highlighter pen. I've also considered adding post-it notes but they can have a tendency to fall off.

Any good ideas from people who have been through this??

Thanks

:)

I highlighted our names/e-mail addresses/important dates/flight numbers/the city we lived in/the country...anything that corresponded with what we wrote in our letter of meeting in the past 2 years.

We highlighted our names together on any document, proof I was living/working in the city we met in, the stamps in my passport (to differentiate from other stamps to other countries).

I didn't go highlight crazy because I was assuming that USCIS would read what I sent. If there was anything that I really wanted to stand out - or that was relevant to other proof - I let them know :innocent:

i think highlighting is good. makes it easy for them to scan over things.

i also highlighted info on pages. i wanted to make shure they knew what that page was in there for.

i dont think there is anything official on whether or not its ok to do so. however i belive many do it. i havent ever heard of anyone getting any feedback requesting UNHIGHLIGHTED documents.

i think if you did anything to cover any part of the page you might make a question. so using a highlighter is ok - it doesnt cover anything. i wouldnt black out anything. but i dont think you were going that route!

It seems that several people used high-lighters and had no problems....

There is a thread on it that was posted the other day, it should be on page 5 or 6 by now, it's titled---I am using (orange) highlighter on some papers :)

People have used highlighters to highlight the relevant dates, or pen to circle them. I used a red pen to underline dates on our boarding passes (since it was sort of hard to find otherwise) and drew some arrows.
