Hello everyone,

I had met my ex wife and went through the k-1 visa process before. We were married for 15 years and it ended. I never thought I would ever go through this again but here I am head over heels in love with a gal from France.

The problem I have is this,

On the I-129F petition it asks: on page 2 if I have ever filed a K-1 visa before and if so, they want the alien registration # date of fling, etc.

My ex took all of the documents with her and I am pretty sure she will not cooperate and give me that information so, I need to know how to look up or find that information out?

Thank you in advance.

If you don't know the A# of your ex, then just put Unknown. Add an additional sheet put whatever information you remember like her name, when you filed, if her petition was approved and if she received a green card etc. For your current fiance(e), leave the A# question blank.

I'm sure the USCIS have all the files of immigrants. I found this site maybe this might be useful to you - http://www.uscis.gov/history-and-genealogy/genealogy/requesting-help/record-requests-frequently-asked-questions#1. Regards. :)
