Hi, again!

At the CFO seminar I went to last March 30, the officer said something about a sheet that we should ask the immigration officer at POE. This sheet is like a proof of our legal status in the U.S. under K1. Is this the I-94/Does this step ring a bell? Thanks.

Yes you will either get at your POE, but each are different as to how the handle the issuance, or you can go online and print it off. Follow the link at the twisting arrow in my signature down below and go over to the POE tab and select it and there will be more instructions for you.

Seriously, you need to NOT listen to CFO on the U.S. visa process, they obviously don't have a clue.

There is no sheet give at POE. The I-94 is retrieved online and there is a link to this info below... follow the flashing arrow, then click the POE tab

Yes it is the I-94. I asked that to the Officer at POE last January this year (just to double check) but said you just need to print the I-94 form online so I did. Here is the link below; https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/request.html;jsessionid=skYTVK8LQr9Tc9Sq1hhKkX40kVJcknxnRBpYH127T2Ms50JBLZrY!1358670245.

By the way, before landing in the U.S. at POE, one 6059B - customs form will be given to each family. Flight attendants will distribute this form prior to landing in the U.S. http://www.cbp.gov/sites/default/files/documents/CBP%20Form%206059B%20English%20%28Fillable%29_0.pdf

You can also read it on the handbook that they gave us at CFO for more information, I find it useful :) Regards.

Agreed

Print it out, take your passport and go to Social Security place and get your SSN asap. It's free....
