What now ? after Expedite

Hi everybody,

any info or advice is appreciated and thanks in advance.

I was able to expedite my case to Cairo Egypt because of the war currently in Yemen. As of the 27th its been in transit which is fine i know it could take a few weeks or so. My question is because its expedite will they give me first available appointee or will they just treat it like any case?

It is my understanding that it is very difficult to get an interview in Cairo in a timely fashion. They have a thread going in North Africa/Middle East forum addressing this topic. You should look there for more information.

Thanks for the reply I have looked everywhere for my answer what I really want to know is do I get an interview faster that its an expedited or is it treated as a regular case once it reaches the embassy

I hope it's treated like any other case, how unfair is it for you to get an expedite in the review process as well. I don't mean to be negative but the whole process is so horrible and frustrating ESPECIALLY at the embassy in Cairo and it doesn't make any sense that an expedited transfer would mean an expedited interview as well. Anyway best of luck.

We'll actually that is negative. Did you see the part about my family had to escape a warzone? If it makes you feel better o ended up sending my case to Djibouti cause it was faster. Love for your brother what you love for yourself. Life's to short stay positive
