I just got the NOA1 and registered on-line, and they said I was in Calfornia on-line. I sent it to vermont, as per the instructions. Anyone else get the same thing or is it an error on their part? Thanks!

Im not really sure where your posting from (Oregon or Thailand) but either way your package should go to California.

Simply put

The Western States go to Cali

Midwest goes to Nebraska

South goes to Texas

And only the Northeast Corridor goes to Vermont

When you mailed it off to Vermont they saw that it should go to Cali and passed it on to your service center.

Oops - Nebraska. The I130 clearly stated Oregon went to Nebraska. I guess that changed recently...

I'm not sure exactly when it happened but I know it was back in 2005. By the looks of other timelines I would say approval is normally btw 2-4 months but of course every case is different some some are slower. I don't think anyone can tell you exactly how long it might be but have your name added to the "Timeline on I-130 Approvals" to see which other VJ's are getting approved.

Good luck on your Visa Journey!!!

Anna
