Hi Guys

My petition was approved on 16th of April , based on the approval letter my case should be in the NVC by now but its not in the System yet as i called them and said that it takes up to 35 days , So my question , can i send the AOS and IV packages once i get the Welcome letter form NVC and and choose the agent ? or do i have to pay AOS and IV then send the Package ?

Hope you guys have a wonderful journey with NVC :)

After you pay the AOS fee you can send both packages together, AOS envelop in one envelope, IV package in other envelope and both of them together and one big envelop

I would continue to call them! I called EVERY SINGLE DAY, and got my case number after 8 days and my AOS invoice the next day....consistency is the key :)

They will give you a NVC/DOS case number and IIN. You use that to log onto the CEAC website to do the DS-261 and pay the AOS fee when they become available. https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/

Calling them constantly does not help you. It can hinder you. They do keep a record of how often you call and the last thing you maybe want to do is annoy the people who you want help from. :) I've read quite a bit about people being told, Look Mrs Blank, you called yesterday, and the day before, and the day before that. We said it would take 30 days, please give us the time we need. Thank you.

Did the NVC tell you that they have your package from USCIS yet? Mine took two weeks with USCIS AFTER APROVAL and then about another week in transit to NVC. So first thing first, determine if they have actually received your petition. If they have then you can bug them so you can get your information once they enter it in the system.

in the Approval letter that i got from the USCIS , it is stating that they have sent my original petition case on that 16th , so i assumed that the case should have been at the NVC already but they have not put into the system yet . is there any other way to know if they have received the case or not yet ?

Thanks

Its highly unlikely they sent it out the day it was approved. Call NVC and establish if they actually have your case there and move from there.

i think even though they stated that they have sent the case but it still in the transit , it is just Vermont Center that is taking this long to send out the approval petition comparing with other Centers , im really disappointed.
