Dear all,

I filled I130 and 485 concurrently. I am currently in Houston, TX and this where we will go for interview I believe.

I received text msgs on 3/31/2015 from USCIS saying that they received my application. I also got the paper notices saying they received my application.

However, I haven't received any paper notice regarding Biometric dates.

Can anyone here let me know if this is typical? I felt like it is very slow comparing with people's timeline here.

Hello

I believe a lot depends on your local office where you will be doing the Biometrics. And how busy they are. It looks like you would be in the Houston office and they could be very busy. They have to balance the work load. We go ours quick but we our office is a small one and not very busy.

Are you doing adjustment of status based on marriage? If yes, is your spouse a US citizen or a green card holder?
