I have an interview scheduled on May 15th in Montreal Embassy. I was born in India and don't have my immunization record. I got the blood tests done on March 31st to see what vaccinations I do require buy my Doctor is still waiting for results from health Canada. I had to reschedule my Medical examination appointment due to this. As far as I know..I would require TD/MMR and Varicella vaccinations. I am concerned as my doctor told me that Health Canada takes a long time to send the results back.

is there something I can do expedite it, asked the doctors office and asked me to wait.

Thanks a lot for all your help.

When did you have your vaccines in India? If it was a long time ago, just get them done again. Most vaccines need a "booster" shot every 10 years or so anyway. Is this possible for you?

IR1/CR1 Visa - We are using a lawyer!

Embassy: Montreal, Canada

USCIS

22 Jan 2013 -- packageSent
31 Jan 2013 -- NOA1 from NBC

6 Mar 2013 -- I130 transferred to Orlando local field office (which started the whole nightmare)

Mar 2013 to October 2013 no one would tell us where our case was or what was happening. I suspected the whole time it was just sitting in a corner somewhere in the Orlando field office. I was pretty much right.

October 2013 - get congressman involved. Congressman asks USCIS repeatedly about our case but they won't even tell them anything.

31 Jan 2014- finally get NOA2!!!! (we think the nightmare is over!)

NVC

Our case was not sent from the Orlando field office as it should have been. The nightmare continues. We kept calling NVC and asking if they received our case, and they always said "NO" and that we had to wait 90 business days for it to be received. We called USCIS during this time and they kept telling us it had been sent. After the 90 days of agonizing frustration, NVC then started telling us we had to wait 120 business days. I got our congressman involved again, and they told the congressman it was sitting at the Orlando office this whole time (just as I thought it was!).

22 Apr 2014 -- NVC received
16 May 2014 -- NVC case number assigned
24 May 2014 -- AoS and IV bills paid

28 May 2014 -- Sent AoS and IV Packages

6 June 2014 -- documents scanned

18 July 2014 -- false checklist from NVC

21 July 2014 -- Case complete

28 July 2014 -- receive case complete email from NV

30 July 2014 -- interview booked! September 11 here I come!

Embassy
04 Sept 2014 -- Medical
11 Sept 2014 -- Interview - APPROVED!!!!

I had my medical in Surrey on April 9/15 and because I didn't have my immunization records, my regular doctor had ordered the Titer test and I took the results with me to my immigration medical. Turns out the labs missed doing the Measels IGG and Rubella tests, so I couldn't pick up my results the next day. Long story short, the labs screwed up so rather that wait any longer and worry about the labs screwing up again, I just went and got the MMR shot and emailed the proof to the doctor in BC and they have couriered the results to me....should arrive today. Before my immigration medical, I also had to get the Tdap shot as I only had a Td shot done in 2007.

I never got vaccinated for MMR (measels and rubella) and Varicella in India. Doctor wants to confirm the results and then give me vaccinations and letter confirming that. I guess I will wait for few more days before talking to doctor again.

I just want to get my medical examination done on time.

I just had my medical with Dr. Lyndon, April 13th and everything went pretty easy, I had my vaccines beforehand, waited 14 days for blood test result and they gave me Tdap and MMR and varicella as well 1 day before my medical in Torornto, medical with Dr. Lyndon lasted for about 5 mins he just asked my medical history asked my weight and height took my BP ask for payment and chit chat with my fiancé about football in Michigan then he sent me for X-ray and another blood test, he will not consider the blood test made by health canada he will still require for blood test, but I do understand that health canada require the blood test before giving you shots!
