Had my interview @ us embassy London was very quick the officer said my K1 visa was approved and would be with me in 2 weeks but checked my status online and it said administrative processing? Is this a common procedure with the London embassy? They have my passport still so should I be worried as its got me freaking out, has anyone eexperienced similar??

It's standard. Every petition goes through it. They're doing administrative stuff on the back end. No need to freak out if it's right after your interview (or for a few days after that).

Yes, this is completely normal. They have your passport so this Administrative Process just means they are putting a fancy visa sticker in your passport and preparing that to be shipped back to you. (Reason I know this is because I have 3 of them in mine). I have also heard you get an envelope from them you may not open that you will give to the immigration officer at your POE.

You interview was April 9, so a week has already passed. Most (in London) say AP for a couple of hours to a day and say issued by a week. If it still says AP next week then you likely have a security check issue. Are you born and raised in the UK by born and raised British parents? Any Muslim or Middle Eastern country ties? That is most often the reason for extended AP because it may take longer to clear security hurdles.
