k1 - AOS - T.I.N, - Airbnb - Is it Work?

Hey guys,

I am adjusting status from my K1 visa and my husband and I decided to rent our house for 2 days on airbnb during an event thats gonna happen in our city and since I already had an account on airbnb, I posted the advertising on my profile (which has my information like passport data) and we rented it.

Now, here are my questions:

1) Do I have a US Tax Payer Identification? I tried looking for it on the web and here and I got really confused.

2) Is the activity of renting a house for 2 days considered work? I still don't have my permition to work.

If you are within the 90 days of entry on your K-1 you can get an SSN, or you have to wait til you get your EAD. If you didn't apply for your EAD then you need to wait til you apply and receive one or your Green Card.

You can go to the local Social Security Office and with your documents (if you fall into one of the above) and they should issue you an SSN.
