NVC process for VSC filers from Aug 2013- Jun 2014

Well, Am new here. I really request for a lot of assistance. I want to file for my wife in Kenya. I just filled and sent i-130 form. What is the next step?

I have a friend under same F2A visa whose priority date is 04 Sep. 2013 for Nairobi, Kenya embassy. When does he expect an interview letter?

Your welcome and you should have CC within the next couple of days due to the checklist therefore, finger crossed you will get your IL by the end of this month in God's will. Good luck

Hello Enoo,

Welcome to this thread and VJ. The next step after you submit the I-130 is to get approval from USCIS and this depends on the service center you have filed your petition because some take longer time to approve than others. After you got approved your file will get sent to NVC however, it will take up to 30 days to get there. All the information you need is provided by a lot of members in this thread therefore, my advise to you is to read from the first page to get an idea of what to except.

In regards to your friend he should have his interview letter from NVC by now if his case is completed because the current visa bulletin is 8th November therefore, you will need to tell your friend to call NVC and ask about his case. Good luck and I wish you very best of luck with the process and my best advise to you is to read VJ threads so that you will understand about the process in depth.

I paid aos fees nd iv fees nd its saw on ceac website that paid ..now i am ready for ds260 too .but i am confused about pcc can i submit pcc during interview or i have to submit now ..embassy mubai india ..pd july 8 2014

and start ur proceess to get pcc it takes almost 2 months.

You should submit photo copy of PCC to NVC and original will have to bring to Interview.

Its not true, My relative in India got PCC from passport office without interview letter. Hire a local travel agent and he will do it for small fee.

yes u r right but in a request to officer u can write this.

But u can get it without interview letter.
