Hi everyone, what if your spouse do not have enough income per year to file an affidavit of support? Can someone sponsor an affidavit of support? Is friends can sponsor? Or just related to the spouse?

If the USC doesn't have sufficient income they still fill out the 864. People can become joint sponsors if they are related or close friends & are USCs or LPRs.

Read through the I-864 instructions, and particularly Page 8 #4, 'What If I Cannot Meet the Income Requirements?' > http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-864instr.pdf
