Hello,

So, I posted this thread http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/503979-us-spouse-wants-divorce-lpr-in-a-dilemma/#entry7105975last year.

When I applied for the ROC application my ex-husband and lived at the address we resided at since I had moved to the US. After the application was approved, we moved shortly after and I never updated my address with USCIS at the time. Then, our separation happened (refer to thread in the link above); I traveled to Egypt and then came back to find out that he was already in a relationship with someone else and he treated me so poorly, that his family and our daughter's godparents urged me to leave that situation. So, a month after I've returned and after I have realized that that he has abandoned our marriage, I moved with our daughter to her godparents' home until 'we get back on our feet'.

Long story short, I just tried updating my address on the USCIS website and it asked for the old address and I listed the old address as the one I lived at with my husband but never updated with them. I called the 1-800 asking for insight and the agent said: "Just fill out the information as accurately as possible", so that's what I did.

Do you think there will be a big issue over the fact that I did not update the second address?

That's what I did, hoping it wouldn't be too much of a problem.

I traveled to visit my family over the summer and listed the second address (the one I never updated with USCIS) on the form I had to fill out for my POE. I vaguely recall giving the POE officer the address as well as part of the screening.

You'd be surprised at the lack of communication between CBP and USCIS, especially when it comes to someone's address.

Just file a change of address now with your correct address. They told me to always update my address, but I get the feeling it's so that you get everything they send you in the mail (they may send a reminder about ROC, I don't even know), so I wouldn't be too worried about that - you seem to know what you're doing :)
