I think you are getting confused and worry for nothing. You would have received some sort of notice if you were denied or needed additional information to process your visa. Were you told what was the reason to return on April 2nd? Did the CO say you have to come for a second interview or asked you to bring additional documentation? What else does it say on the card you were given? Did the embassy keep your passport...etc? It is strange if they did not say anything, you could certainly call the embassy and verify with them. Good luck and let us know what happened :-) Edited by cocolucho

This looks to me as your visa was approved and you are just going to pick up your visa packet (including the seal envelope and your passport with the visa stamp/seal This is good news. That is why you did not get the other form. You were approved!!!

Note: Check your case number status if it says your visa was printed, AP means the embassy is just getting your documents together.... It can take a couple of days to week to get your packet together and that is why you were given an April 2, 2015 pick up date.

Congratulations!!!

i don´t think you should be worry about anything, just wait till the day its written on the card they gave you..clearly it states that you will receive you Immigrant visa Packet.

AP doesnt always mean there´s something wrong or something is still missing. If you didnt get a 221g form (for some missing paper, or some further review) then probably your case was completed and approved which i think its a good thing.

My IV was on a tuesday, and on wednesday my status in CEAC said AP...and a few hours later changed to Issued..
