Hi guys,

I just wanted to know if I could submit the I-864 form with the I-134 form? I know that I don't make enough to be the sponsor and I already have a joint sponsor. Do I have to submit the I-134 form first and then wait for them to send me a letter telling me I need a joint sponsor, or can I just mail them together to save time? Hope to get help on this :)

I-134 is for K1 visa, I-864 is for Adjustment of Status after marriage. For K1 you only need the I-134, one for you and one for the joint sponsor. You present them at the same time during the interview stage.

Agreed, you only need to do the 134 for the K1, but it doesn't hurt to start on the 864 at the same time as it requires a lot of the same information. The you will have it ready at the AOS. It is easy to save the form (864) and update as appropriate prior to submitting the 864.

Apologies, I meant prior to submitting the I485 AOS.
