NOA2 received, Case was shipped to the NVC. What comes next ?

Hello everyone,
We finally got our NOA2 on mail ( Feb 12 ). USCIS notified us that they sent our petition to the NVC on ( Feb 24 ).
We're a little bit confused about this coming process, we will call NVC Monday to ask if they received our case and assigned it. Our Question is, if they have already received it, and we didn't call, is that will make their process on hold until we call them ?
and what will be the next step after they send our Petition to the American consulate in Morocco ? when should I schedule an Interview ?

Hello .

you have to call NVC , to be sure that they receive your petition , then you have to prepare all of your original documents , and they will ask you about AOS and some original documents via emile , nd they will send you the address .

I have got my interview date from NVC after 3 months of working and after i sent all the original documents such as birth certificate, marriage certificate , and other documents .

04/11/2009 MARRIAGE (IR1 VISA)

10/06/2013 I-130 SENT

12/06/2013 NOA 1 Form I-797 . USCIS received

20/12/2013 NOA 2 Transfer notice, Texas Service Center

17/01/2014 I-130 Approved

29/01/2014 NVC received the case

21/03/2014 Receive AOS Fee Payment 88$

23/03/2014 Receive DS-261 Agent and Address

25/03/2014 AOS Fee Payment PAID 88$

28/03/2014 Received IV Bill 230$

31/03/2014 IV Bill PAID 230$

03/04/2014 DS-261 DONE , SENT

03/04/2014 Received Affidavit of Support

04/04/2014 DS-260 DONE , SENT

06/04/2014 Original and Supporting documents , DONE , SENT .

call NVC to see if they have your case number and invoice number yet. Not calling NVC will not hold up your case. However the only way to find out something from the NVC is to call. Do not wait on reply from them
