Yes I paid the ELIS fee last night..My hubby tried to pay from India for some reason it didn't allow to create a online acct with his email..So I created an acct n paid the fee ..Is tht ok..?? The status shows its in process..I sent tht confirmation to my hubby.. :secret:

Hello All...Question regarding DS-260... i know some one posted this before on this forum but i was not able to get to the right answer...I missed the middle names for petitioner and the beneficiary and some one mentioned that we can fill a new DS-260 before interview ...is this true? Can we fill a new DS-260 and take it instead of the old one or do we need to inform the Embassy and the VAC center?

Visa in hand: 05/20/2015 (Yay!) ELIS Fee ($165) paid this day as well

SSN card received: 6/8/2015 (processed on 6/2/2015) // ELIS shows "Optimized" since 5/30/2015  // ELIS changed to "In Process" 07/14/2015. (E-file received 06/25/15)

GREEN CARD RECEIVED!! 7/30/2015

NOA1: 3/30/2017 (Rcvd 4/3/2017)

My wife got an approval for cr1 on june 23. They told she will get the visa in 1.5 weeks

I had selected pick up location of blue dart (bcoz there was no option of providing a home address) while making the biometric appointment

Does anyone know how to change this location so I can get the passport delivered to her home?

Or Is there a way to authorize another person to do the pickup

Isnt the DS-260 page emailed to you when completed; thus you should be able to print at anytime. Maybe I'm getting fuzzy on this as it's been a while.

Check with VAC center. You may have to reprint ds260 and have it restamped. The Consulate may not allow entry without biometrics proof.

Guys, anyone have an idea how long it takes for Mumbai to schedule the interviews? I am awaiting Case Complete right now but am kind of worried because I don't see any of the Mumbai consulate people getting interview dates. Does it take 2-3 months to get an interview?

I really want to be with my husband for Diwali. :(

Anyone have any idea about the Mumbai consulate then please help. :(

When you login to the website (usatravel something I think) does it show the status of your payment and that your DS-260 is completed? If so, that site shoudl allow you to schedule interview I believe.

I did pay all the fees and submit all the documents on 12th of august. I am expecting a CC by 1st week of September.

And I'm not sure I understand. They all us to schedule an interview? Aren't interviews scheduled by the NVC??

No Urvashi,

you cant schedule visa interview on your own, after CC you have to wait foe few days, NVC will sent your File to Mumbai consulate and they will schedule your interview.

once your interview has been scheduled you will receive email conformation and your P4/interview letter.

Okay. It's just that currently Mumbai seems to be taking a lot of time to schedule interviews. Don't know what is wrong with it. :(

lazy's visa category is K1, fiance visa. K1 applicants can schedule their own interviews after NVC cc, unlike CR1s.
