Hello,

Right now I am state of anxiety and frustration. It's been two days I communicated with the NVC for the status of my cases. I have my wife and stepson. They sent a checklist for my AOS and now received another. Honestly, I feel destroyed. Only think that will be two more months.

They're asking me this:

For my stepson:

When you filled out the I-864 for what did you put in the amount column your income? It should have been $0. Was it with an explanation of why you weren't qualified to file.

If you put an amount there they expect a tax return.

Call ask for a Supervisor and explain it to them. You did provide the State tax return then?

Hi, I reviewed the I-864 and I says N/A and send a detail letter explaining why. Also send my State Taxes, paystubs and w2.

Thanks for the advice. I will call.

Hi, I am really sorry to hear that this is happening to you. I am on the same boat! I have gotten a total of FOUR checklists for the AOS forms. I sent what I hoping is my last one last month. EVERYDAY when I check my mail, I get a stomach pain just thinking that I might get another one. THE SADDEST PART IS THAT THE THINGS THAT THEY ARE USING TO DELAY THE PROCESS BY GIVING CHECKLISTS ARE RIDICULOUS! They can easily complete the case, and ask in a detail letter what to exactly bring to the interview. I HAVE THE WAY THE TREAT US!

I am at NVC since last year of May. I already sent Aos last year of June unfortunately I got checklist then at the same time got jobless. The checklist I just received was because I didn't put N/A ..I leaved it blank. so after the checklist I received I didn't comply because I'm jobless. now I got a job and I sent my new I 864 and together I sent the IV documents. well I just hope no more checklist for me. and I hope they can give consideration and give me 30 days and not 60 days to wait. it's been a year I last saw my wife and son in person.
