You 'can' but I believe it's better to wait for the packet to get to the USEM. Would be such a waste of time if your fiance gets there, only to be sent back home cause the physical file isn't there.

Yes. Get moving on your interview appointment. The file will be there in less then two weeks. Like Al1422 stated, they are filling appointments two months out. Follow Hank's guide each step of the way and you should have no problems. Hank's guide http://visaconnection-philippines.com/

can I schedule an appointment even if my case is still not arrive in my fiances local embassy in the philippines? She already has with her case number, invoice number and beneficiary number.

YES!! You have your MNL # .... stop sitting around burning daylight unless you like the idea of sitting around waiting.

You 'can' but I believe it's better to wait for the packet to get to the USEM. Would be such a waste of time if your fiance gets there, only to be sent back home cause the physical file isn't there.

This is only an issue if you are trying to schedule an appointment withing a couple weeks of receiving the MNL #, for most scheduling 4-5 weeks out makes this a total NON-issue.
