I agree to that. If ever someone got a checklist they should've just ask them to bring it to the embassy rather than sending it to them and adding freakin 60 days to the wait. It will save em time as

January 2nd or 5th, depending on who is counting... Hoping for early March, and no checklist obviously! The cynic in me wonders if the NVC would be quicker if people didn't call them quite so often...

They wouldn't be quicker because operators don't review documents. Just maybe they would be "quicker" if they wouldn't ask that checklist has to be send back to NVC.

I agree to that. If ever someone got a checklist they should've just ask them to bring it to the embassy rather than sending it to them and adding freakin 60 days to the wait. It will save em time as well as to those who are waiting.

True but that's why I'm confused about when people say they call in to get their IV bill invoiced and the rep on the phone reviews their DS-261 choice of agent. Do they just simply click a button and say they looked at it? If it's so easy I just don't understand why it takes up to 42 days normally. The whole system really just baffles my mind and I know I shouldn't analyze every inefficiency but I guess it helps pass the time :unsure:

USCIS

10-24-14 : I-130 sent from South Africa to Chicago Lockbox

11-03-14 : NOA1, Case Transferred to California Service Center

11-24-14 : NOA2

NVC

12-12-14 : Case received by NVC

01-15-15 : Case # Assigned

01-15-15: DS-261 completed

01-20-15: AOS fee invoiced & paid

01-21-15: Mailed AOS & IV Packages

01-22-15: ORIGINAL SCAN DATE- both packages

01-23-15: Sent corrected AOS - caught my own mistake

02-11-15: IV bill invoiced & paid

02-14-15: DS-260 completed

04-01-15: Case Complete

04-16-15: P4 e-mail

05-14-15: Interview Date

05-25--15 : POE, time to MOVE!!!!

Removal of Conditions

Main was also reviewed by the phone. Obviously DS261 is such form that when is in the system they can do it....or maybe some operators have different (higher) access then others do. Who knows.....

I agree regarding checklists. It's completely unfair what they do to some people.

Anyway, January 12 scan date, and so far it's been a nightmare. I don't care when I hear back from them, as long as I don't get checklists.

I dont know what's going on. Not a Tailor sent by email too, on Jan 11 and got the 60 day email on Jan 26.

If someone here sent after Jan 16th and got the 60 day email then we know for sure something went wrong.
