Ok! So after doing SO much research I've made a checklist with what to submit with this I-130 package! Please let me know if there is anything I should add OR if there is something that I don't need to include with it.

1. My husband's original birth certificate and copy (front and back)

2. Copy of my birth certificate (front and back)

3. Copy of ALL pages of passport

4. Original marriage certificate, copy of it and translation

5. Passport pics (one for husband, one for me)

6. Both G352A forms

7. Affidavits from my both of my parents (read on USCIS.gov website to include this for additional proof)

8. A copy of my I.D. to show that I changed my last name and that I really am serious about this marriage!

9. And of course, the I-130 form!

Now for a few questions:

1. Do I need my original birth certificate? Or ONLY if they request to see it?

2. Do I need to submit copies of ALL pages of my passport? I think it is a good idea because my passport is stamped with the Honduras stamp. Or maybe they won't care and wonder WHY I included a copy of my birth certificate AND copies of the pages of my passport? Maybe I just need a copy of my birth certificate?

3. Do I include the pictures that I have of me and my husband together? I have them dated from 2003-present. OR Do I wait to submit those with that other form?

Thanks! :D

All you need for now are Copy of birth certificate (you and ur husband), copy of passport (first pages, the one with your info in it), copy of marriage certificate, passport pics (husband and you), both G325A forms (husband and you) and I-130 forms. You have to keep of all of your originals unless they asked for it. Photos of the wedding and pictures that ur together will be used for interview, keep it for now.

I believe that for birth certificates/passports all you need is Either the birth certificate OR all pages of the passport of the U.S. citizen - you do not need this for the beneficiary.

Other than that, as I mentioned in the other post - the new I130 instructions do not mention photographs, but if you want to include that as additional evidence that's your choice :)

good luck!

Sandy

7. Affidavits from my both of my parents (read on USCIS.gov website to include this for additional proof)

Hi Megan,

I am a U.S. Born Citizen and will be filing soon for my wedding that took place in India (Feb 22nd). I was curious to know if you used any particular type of "notarization" for making the affidavits "official", as the additional proof description (pasted below for others to reference) is a bit wordy. Would love to see how your's was formatted so I can use it to guide how I go about getting mine done. Also did you do this for only your side of the family or did you do this also for the non US citizen side as well?

I-130 Description for Affidavit for Proof
