Any luck guys?my husband called NVC yesterday and was told to wait for a few weeks before we can access the DS261.

But I thinks some can already access based from the other forum.

I'll let him call again maybe next week, it took him 1hr just to connect with NVC.

Hopefully they allow us to continue the process already

Am not certain there has been anyone that has been given access to choice of agent, what most people can view is the payment which is yet to be invoiced. I called NVC yesterday and was told by the end this month or 1st week in March, we should be able to access it. Just get copies of your civil douments sent to your husband, while you wait for the instruction to proceed. Good luck to us all.

Just an advance question if we are done paying the fees in STEP2, can we already send the documents (Finacial & Supporting)?and where/when will I get the NVC Welcome Letter?

He has the documents, that is a good start, you have already received a welcome letter from NVC, the first letter you received from NVC stating that you need to wait for your priority date to become current is your welcome letter. When priority dates draw closer NVC would then forward another letter with instructions on how to proceed. That is the e-mail and mail we are expecting by the end of this month. AOS would be invoiced first $120, make payment. Then I.V fees would be invoiced $325. DS 260 is only available when IV fees have been accepted. It appears as paid on the payment portal. Gather Affidavit Of Support Docs which is called AOS package ( This is for your petitioner. If he requires joint sponsor, this is the time to look for one ) This package includes Original completed, signed and dated, tax information last 3 yrs, pay stubs (optional) , employment letter (optional) etc. Gather I.V Package for the beneficiary. Hi, I'm so glad that VB moved by 6 weeks !

I'm also still unable to choose an agent and pay fees etc.

Hopefully it will become available soon, as my PD is 7th November 2013.

I'm collecting all documents etc at the moment.

I'm concerned about NVC welcome letter, we never received one.

I received Case Number and invoice id number from them only in reply to my email, but never as a separate email from them or by post..

Anyway I am on hold with NVC right now, so I will ask them about it and I have couple other things to ask.

I was able to access DS261, the fee payment page is giving an error message that this case is in the process of termination. According to SAYLINS'S wiki, it means AOS is being invoiced. A September flier with P.D 23 September was able to complete DS261 and make payment, I think you should try. I would call NVC today, we used an attorney to file petition, I do not know if Thea attorney is automatically my choice of agent.

because NVC Think my case is CR1

i sent my document to NVC on Jul 16 and not review until now, i try to log in DS 260 but Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please contact the National Visa Center if you believe that you have received this message in error.
