You are so lucky you don't have to adjust status like all these K1s do. My ROC method was start a folder where you can stash things from right now that show both names, joint things, photos, trip boarding passes, etc. Then in two years you have a big messy pile of things to choose from and organize that show a range of dates covering the whole two years. If you fill out something for work to add your husband, photocopy it before turning in. When the auto insurance proofs expire, put the old ones in the stash. If you buy a car and put both names on the paperwork, photocopy and add to ROC. Adopt a pet, get in both names. Etc, etc. It's a small task to add things as you go instead of reconstructing two years and wishing you hadn't thrown things away. Mine was disorganized and messy, but lots there to choose from when the time came. It was our largest submission of all of them.

We already have  We are planners so it comes naturally. Thanks again for all your help. I just posted a big thank you in the CR1 thread for all the elder members that have helped us through our CR1 process and I included our London thread royalty too... you! Keep up the good work. even if people don't ask you questions they are reading your answers and it helps... a lot.

Thanks Nick Nich :) we've started doing something like that. But now we know we really do have to stick it and not procrastinate. You've been a big help to us during our K1 days hope that you'll stick around for AOS as well. Cheers. Thanks again :)

Reading other posts on here.. i am curious for AOS do you think USCIS would like to see photos of like at family events? I know photos from our wedding day is important. As since I have been here there as been lots of events easter, birthdays, went to the zoo with my husbands family, my sister in law's bridal shower etc. Not all of them it was remembered to take group photos. I just wonder if it is essential or not for AOS? it may be for Removing of Condition maybe in 2 years time, and of course keeping things like tickets, bills in both names etc for a 2 years timeframe.

There are so many local offices filled with many adjudicators that what your one interviewer would like to see is a guess. Take a small selection of photos with family and offer them...."I brought some photos, would you like to see them."

We didn't interview so our AOS was approved on only a marriage certificate. The photos I submitted with ROC were not poses in beautiful places but common married people things...selfie with the cat in our house, family around the table eating Thanksgiving dinner, me holding the ladder while he put up outside Christmas lights, painting walls in our new house looking rather dreadful. I have to admit they were planned candids so we would both be in the pictures. I tend to be the picture taker, so I would hand off my camera and say "take a photo for immigration." It got to be a joke. I seriously grabbed a little neighbor boy to take the ladder photo. "Michael, come take a photo of me pretending to help do the lights."

well I just was thinking if photos are needed is all.. I sent in 22 photos with my k1 petition by choice as I thought it showed places we went together when my husband visited me in england and a few with my parents and friends. I like to add as much stuff as I can to lower the chance of RFE. I did a similar thing for going to the embassy I took loads of evidence and then it wasnt asked for but I like to prepared just in case.

I like all the photos you submitted for ROC nick nich! I hadnt thought about even photos with the dog. I guess even the single married life things show normal life and happy together.

My AOS packet had no marital evidence except the marriage certificate. We had nothing together because it was sent three days after our marriage and about 10 days after POE. They know you are a newly wed and haven't established much together yet.

In my understanding, they are not going to RFE because you had no bank account or photos in the packet. The RFE would be because you forgot to sign, missed some blanks, paid the wrong amount, didn't get the I-864 and income documentation correct, or they lost your medical exam. All the photos and joint marital evidence would be taken to an interview (if you have one). The only "proof of marriage" mailed with the packet is the legal document that says you got married...marriage certificate. Read the form instructions. They tell you what initial evidence is required. Or follow what your lawyer says. I follow form instructions every time over VJ guides and for sure over forums...LOL, so don't listen to me because I'm one of those wacky forum people.

ROC is different. There is no interview for anybody really so all your evidence has to go in the packet. The form instructions lists suggested marital evidence. And after two years, you should have a good variety. The whole point of ROC is documenting your co-mingled lives and finances to prove a real marriage over greencard fraud.

Yay, Got my email with tracking number. Says it will be delivered tomorrow, but tempted to go to depot and pick it up tonight. That way I can fly tomorrow.

That is if the depot has it available for pick up, and it's not on a truck somewhere!

Happy to get email though.

Nice! That's great news. How many days was your status 'issued' before you got the email and tracking number?

My status was tagged as issued on Friday, got the tracking email today at 1pm saying it's going to be delivered tomorrow. Seems to be around two business days from issued to email is the average.

I made James clean the windows outside of my house so I could take a picture of my dog watching him. Another visit I had him sanding and refinishing a dresser in my back yard. I told him hese were necessary tasks that have to be documented all in the name of immigration's proof of relationship.

Then my Mother asks, "But, did you have to make him wear the pink Susan G. Komen breast cancer tool belt"

"Nope" I replied "That was just for fun"

I can't wait to marry this man!!!!!
