EAD for K1 holder when crossing into states

AHHHHHHHHHHH---more money more money more money

is there a fee for the EAD when crossing over the border -the stamp that lasts 3months? Do we need to file ot the form to get it or just ask for it?

this is crossing from Canada to States--probably at the Ambassador Crossing

any answers greatly appreciated

Mostly true... there have been from time to time an occasional report on some other POE's. I remember a poster indicated DTW in the past few weeks. I also remember someone who reported getting it at a land crossing somewhere.

There is no fee attached to this "stamp" should you receive one.

Thanks--I was worried more about the fee if there is a possibility of getting the stamp

I have seen more than one posting about getting the stamp through the Ambassador Crossing and I also did some other research and found that a few have been listed on other sites like this one as having received the stamp at that POE

There is also a site that offers a list of POE's and if an EAD can or has been issued. The latest one received was Janurary 30 2007.
