Hi,

I just want to know the requirements and steps I need and my sibling need to take for bringing my sibling to get visitor visa.

I am a US Citizen trying to get my sibling to visit me.

  • Amount of money in your savings account?
  • Assets etc?
  • Length of Job, pay stubs etc.
  • Which one is better B1 or B2.
  • Can i ask the ambassy to issue multiple entry 5 year visa?
  • Other requirements.

Also what are steps and requirement, typically i heard it's better to apply 2-3 months before their intendid departure date.

Please reply.

Thanks

hi

nothing, the B2 is for tourist

but you don't do anything

he must apply on his own showing strong ties to his country and that he doesn't have intent to immigrate. there is nothing you can do to help him

if he is married, has a job, bank account, he is leaving family behind, if he has traveled to other countries, he has to convince the officer that he will return to his country, it can hinder his chances if you try something

You have nothing to do with your siblings process other than to advise them. They apply on the embassy web site. They prove beyond doubt they must return. Savings wont help.
