to Hank@ thanks for your effort to attach that site of requirements for interview, im not aware bcoz we were depending from our agency there in the USA hired by my hubby;( actually this agency screwed up mu ds260 too from the very beginning;(( they said they r expert for 30 years on immigration law;( if that so how come just filling up ds260 this agency still not mastered how to fill up forms;)) funny ha! or just still learning,, if mistakes done by the agency we applicants blamed the Legal counsel who is tie up to that agency and both will be decredited with bad service,,, just be careful of agency like we have,, they are not expert as we thought, they got ur money fully paid on their service and they left u hanging on the interview problems;(! all the agency says,,,, we cant do anything we can contact direct to the consul, we dont know other ways aside from emailing the embassy and still no got reply from embassy,, ueah this is another problem, how come USEm dont reply to my emails too been a month now too;( very upsetting and stressing we can get heart diseases and mental malfunction bcoz of all these;)! God is the hope and answer;)!!

Hank,

You are a K-1 she is a CR-1/IR-1. For Cr-1/IR-1 The NVC requires you to send the Police clearance to them and they then foreword the documents to the USEM. My wife needed a Japanese police clearance and Japan would only provide us with one copy. I called the NVC and in-order to get a case complete we had to send our only copy of the Japanese police clearance to the NVC. USEM knows this. I don't understand why you would think she is not telling the truth.

I seriously doubt any documents were lost between NVC and USEM. What is more likely is you didn't provide the documents required in the embassy instructions letter, even if you already submitted them to NVC you are required to submit new documents to USEM - they have their own requirements.

You are required to present all the documents listed in the instructions letter during the interview (doesn't matter that you sent them to NVC before)

to Tacomaryan@ you are right im CR1, and i dont think embassy isnt following their own instrucrion on interview requirements, abd for an applicant goin esp if immigrang he/she must: required police clearances as long as u stayed a year over to that country;)! me stayed less a year and NVC law says it needed if one stay more than a year and im not;)!! so there are also lapses of the laws which give us applicants confusion of which to documents and why it has to be redo or resubmitted... and later on u just found all docs u hardly gathered just lost as easy as that by the authority u entrusted ur documents and no one ones to take responsibility;()!

6mos.more than residing to any country, NVC requires applicant i agree, whether u r fiance or immigrant. But my agent legal counsel kept insisting me that i dont need foreign clearance if i didnt stay there for more than a year thTs in the law thats what she said to me,, but still i did pish through bcoz its the nvc asking me to submit not my legal counsel so sometimes its useless

arguing with what u believe but not based on fact or not in the law,, better comply if theres a way to get clearance even how hard just try ,,,it just happened we were not lucky to ask this agencys' service they dont knw what to do ;))! all done by myself lol;)!

Because you found VJ you are now more enlightened about the process so that gives you the knowledge to look over what your "agent" is doing to determine if the work is error free. If you have questions, ask here like you are doing. Lots of good help.
