Thanks LoveinGhana, It was NVC that I called but would she have been checking the USCIS system then? She said they had it.. maybe it has only just arrived. It is 13 days since NOA1. I will keep calling every day anyhow.

If they got it you will have your case number tomorrow. Give them a call in the morning!! Good luck!!!

I called them on the 17th and they had my case. I got my case number on the 18th....however I am not as lucky as others. My case is still at NVC after 20days.

I hope your case gets sent out to Embassy much faster.

LOL!!!!!! Okay so your case has been sent to NVC....I made a mistake I thought it was there already. In that case it normally takes about two week before you get your case number.

Yes I guess I'll plan for that. I notice some people get theirs very quickly. So long as its moving in the right direction and not taking too long I'll be ok with it.

I hope you hear in the next day or so.

Hey guys I have a question. My fiance and I have been approved at the interview last Wednesday. On Friday I checked the case status on the US Dep. of State website and it says that we are in "Administrative Processing". Should we get worried? I've been looking online and it says that their might be an issue with our documents or something like that and it could take 6 weeks to resolve! But at my fiances interview he didn't mentioned that we had missing documents or any problems at all.

They are very nice at NVC. Now that I am at 20 day...I call every other day. Before I got my case number I think I called a total of 3 times. I know it takes them a week or two. But you call as much as you feel you need to. Once you get your case number....I would call often... lol

How did you get to check the status? Our NOA2 date was 25 Feb and I called NVC today. They say our file hasn't been looked at yet but it seems its there. I asked if there was any way I could check the status online. She said no, but we are told to tell you it will be 30 days but just keep calling us back, we dont mind.

I thought it was given a number as soon as it arrived, but from what she said it hasn't got one yet.

Hey Andie - I am just reading this now. Looks like you got your answers from LovinGhana - good luck getting a number quickly.

That's what I was told yesterday as well. Our case was sent from USCIS Feb 25. Lorvin told me that the 35 days is just standard phrasing though, so I'd call them again 1-2 weeks after it was sent from USCIS. I'm calling them again Thursday or Friday, and will keep you all posted on what they tell me then. :)

I would call them back in a few day!! They will get it soon. But once it leaves USCIS it normally takes around 2 weeks! Hang in there not much longer.
