I went on to us travel docs, put in my number which lead me to a page that said there were no appointments available? Did anyone else receive this message? I'm wondering if it's because I tried to schedule it after their office hours?

Yeah. Me too. I'm hoping dates will open up soon. I'm trying to book my flight for like May 2nd for the interview. I should have jumped on April 29 when it was available I'm bugging out now

I called the 703 number and they should be escalating this stuff. My understanding is that every month, another month should have opened up. For instance, in January , February and March were opened to scheduling. In February , March and April were opened for scheduling. I was trying to schedule my appointment for May 4 but now I'm stuck in a boat with out a paddle

Hopefully more dates should open up soon. I have to get this done

last Friday I scheduled my fiance's interview through the site and Tuesday was available, so we had 4 days to prepare everything! They should have open slots now, I don't know why it's down...

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days

Yeah. I'm bugging out. I wanted to try and schedule my date for May 4th bit there are no slots available. I was told in March , May dates would open up. But still nothing. I figured to wait till then because I will have the time available from work for a mini vacation but the site says there are no appointments available. I called the consulate offices to try and schedule an interview over the phone, but all they said was they would escalate this matter for me and I should receive an email in 48 hours. Well it's been nearly 72 and still no email. I am hoping for May or even June at this point. This is bull. If it's not one thing it's another. I have all the required docs except for my employment verification letter and her physical. I'm so ready to end this part of the process. Does anyone know if they will open up dates in May or June? Also is there a limit on how many visas can be issued. HELP!!!!

From my experience they should open up dates very soon. When I originally scheduled the interview it was for April 20 but for me that was too far away. I checked everyday and on the third day of me checking March 3 was available. This was on February 27 which meant I had only FOUR days to have my fiancé do his medical, the VAC, and the interview! We got everything done so it is possible! So when the dates open up again make sure you check each day if you want to get an earlier appointment.

Also, I checked the online list of appointments http://santodomingo.usembassy.gov/mobile//scheduled_appointments.htmland you can see that there are some numbers that are repeated multiple times for the same day. I am thinking maybe they are trying to fix this before they open up the appointments again because this could be causing it to seem like there aren't any appointments when in fact there are its just occupied by one case number.

Absolutely. I was bugging out for a minute. But like you said, they probably had to sort out the duplicates. I'll now wait patiently for May dates to start opening up. I'll keep you posted and let you know when that time comes around

What is the VAC appointment and what do you need to bring to this appointment?

Here's all you need to know about the VAC appointment.
