AP confusion

Ok, so My fiance and I were put into AP earlier this month (Dec. 2014) after 3 separate interviews. Our relationship was questioned for many reasons and they wanted certain paperwork...I have email the consultant many times. I have forwarded them information concerning our relationship and wedding plans, I have forwarded them receipts and a letter from my pastor who will marry us. I have given them the I134 form and all. But yet that still wasn't enough and we were put into AP. The 1st problem is that the application has expired now as of Dec. 20th and 2nd is that now my Fiance has another interview Dec. 30th and I don't know what will come of it.

Do I have to reapply?? What if they grant us the visa Tuesday?? Does anyone know where I go from here? Feeling down about this situation. We have waited a year and had hoped to be together for X-mas.....

The expiry don't worry about that the embassy has the petition so they extend it so it doesn't expire. If they approve your Visa 12/30 what do you mean what do you do? Do you mean what is next? No you do not reapply.

Same procedure as you were planning. He picks up Visa in 7 days at Visa pickup center. he flies to US. You marry within 90 days at some point you file your AOS papers and on and on and live happy ever after.

You are in AP because all you sent in they have to check it out. It's not just you send in and they say Okay. Now its going over everything validating things. Remember this is Nigeria documents have to be in order. And you say you sent in I-134 that has to be checked out verified. So hopefully at interview tomorrow they will be all done and render a positive decision.

We were put in AP Dec. 12th and they called us back pretty quickly compared to what I have read on this blog. Thank you again.

So, we didn't have an interview because the lady said out date was the 23rd. And when my fiance showed her that he was called on the 23rd to come in the 30th, she continued to say that the appointment was the 23rd and did not acknowledge she made a mistake even though we have proof of the phone call. I am so frustrated and beyond sad. It seems like no visit to the embassy is in our favor. I leave it in God's hands now since its not worth getting my hopes up.....
