my fiancee was approve yesterday! finally thank god, coz we waited over 1yr and 1 month. (we filed our I-129F Nov. 29 2013) We waited patiently and missing each other so much...



I want to say thank you to everyone who answered my questions here on VJ ...



I was surprise they did not ask my fiancee any of my paperwork like my passport biopage, birth certificated,divorce decree,new letter of intent, NOA1, NOA2, RFE, I-134 AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT, TAX FORM 1040A, W-2'S, CHECKSTUBS, EMPLOYMENT CERTIFICATE.....she was prepared to turn the documents in ...but they never ask her for it ? anybody know y????

Yes. Because they are working double time so those who can pass can get out for Christmas or for New Years. They have a large back log due to Typhoon and holidays.

So the interviews are quick and if your paperwork is in order and there are no potential glaring problems they are asking three questions on average. Then APPROVED!

Count your blessings. Congratulations!!

TD May 23, 2014 Travel Document approved and went for card production

Receipt EAD/AP May 30, 2014 Received combo card EAD/AP

Green Card Approved July 11, 2014 Approved, no interview. Went to card production.

Green Card received July 17, 2014 GC received without interview

Removal of Conditions

Mailed I-751 Dec 16, 2015 Submitted ROC (removal of conditions)

Received Dec 18, 2015 USPS notification of successful delivery

Check Cashed Dec 21, 2015 Check was cashed

NOA-1 Issued Dec 21, 2015 NOA-1 for ROC issued

NOA-1 Issued Dec 26, 2015 NOA-1 Received

Biometrics Appt. Jan 29, 2016 Biometrics Appointment Scheduled [Completed]

I'm guessing that trend will be going for a few weeks when they try to resume after the new year. We have ours January 9th, will post if that is the same that happens. I think jrom said they are in for January 14th. Congratulations!

Got approved this morning too. Same thing with us, they didn't even check our Affidavit of Support, but then again my fiancee and I are both nurses so that must've been why.

I-129F Sent : 2014-07-31

I-129F NOA1 : 2014-08-09

I-129F RFE(s) : 2014-10-8

I-129F NOA2 : 2014-10-28

Interview: 2014-12-23 Approved!
