You only need one G-325A form for each person, the petitioner and foreign fiance(e). No need to send a copy of the instructions page, just the form page itself. You just need to make sure to download and use the G-325A, for the I-129F petition and later for AOS with the I-485.

Okay. Thanks! A few days ago I looked for example cover letters. There was one cover letter at an attorney's site that listed FOUR copies of the G-325a. And then I read the FOUR copies here at VJ. Disturbing!

Yes- I did not read the entire thread. Sometimes not enough time to read an entire thread on the net. I really wish that old information would be deleted here at VJ. It might have been true at one time, but we need the most current info here at VJ, not some requirement from 2006. Anyway, something to think about....

2/14/2015 Sent I-129f package to TX lockbox. Happy Valentine's Day!

2/26/2015 NOA1 received, dated 2/19/2015

3/24/15 NOA2 received, dated 3/19/15

early April(approximate): at NVC ..delay?

4/08/15 Case created. Got case #,

5/16/15 NVC status: 'In Transit'

5/18/15 visa status: 'Ready' for interview

7/3/15 setup medical and visa interview appointments for

7/22/15 and 7/27/15 via Kyiv's 'call center'

7/27/15 visas approved!! ...but pending medical tests for 6 year-old

9/21/15 visa package received, and medical resolved!

Just want to clear up.

This information does not need to be deleted as it is still an ongoing situation between the forms G325 and G325A.

It is not four copies of the form.

The only reason it was 4 PAGES is because each form included an instruction page originally which made it all together four pages.

Now it is only two pages because the form now has no instruction form attached.

The information on VJ is correct as stated in the examples, guides and on most topics.

This was just a little informational debate on why it used to be four and is now two.

Before you comment on something you've quickly read it is always advised to read an entire topic and not jump to conclusions. If you don't have time to read a topic, come back to it when you do have time before you post.

Please, I hope they delete all references to needing 4 copies of the form G-325a. Deleting that, could actually help people avoid a mistake, IMHO.

Actually....back in the day, the G325A form was a four page submittal, with each page identical to the other (mulitple copies for different entities). The new form is different.

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

Like I said there was no reference to needing four copies.

You're either not readin anything or don't understand.

The four pages was two instruction pages and two forms.

So even if someone sent the four pages they weren't making a mistake because it's just instruction pages.

The only mistake would be if you used the form G325 instead of G325A.

Which are extremely similar but the I129-f calls for the form G325A and if people don't understand that when it already says that on the uscis website then that is pretty dumb.

That's actually interesting to know.

So I think that's where this four copies talk comes from....the old four page form (not really four copies).

Yes.

I should know, I'm the one who started this madness on this topic when it first started.

I was incorrect and then I knew the correct information.

So when someone looks up an old topic and isn't informed, I just want to point out what it actually was.

I don't want anyone to mess up their petition.
