Unfortunately we were the unlucky ones. It used to be a 30 day wait for everything but after the end of the summer we got a huge surprise. Actually they saw this coming miles away when we started and when all those approved petitions got to the NVC it overloaded the system. For a majority of the people it has not took a full 60 days and it didn't for me even when I got a checklist. Usually NVC has been able to get back to people before 60 days maybe like 45-50 days which is not a big difference. Hang in there and hope you don't get a checklist, and about or after 40 days keep an eye on the fee payment section on the CEAC website. If your AOS goes from paid to N/A if you already don't know that means your case is complete. One night I just so happen to check mines and there it was and I gave them a call the next morning, the call representative said yes that my case was complete and that it was complete almost a week ago. Look for three N/As. Even when your case is complete you will still find that the NVC is a little behind with case complete emails, and finally getting a interview date in Lagos.

can i ask whats an 3 N/a?

These are 2 N/A beside AOS and one beside IV on the CEAC summary page. From what I have heard from others here, AOS fee changing from Paid to N/A (after IV fee has been paid and all docs have been sent) indicates Case Complete at NVC (99% of the time).

The three N/As will be shown in the summary information when you click on the CEAC website. If am not mistaken this summary will show after you fill out the Visa application since you will only have one time to do it. After that it will show you what you have done and no longer bring up the visa application, You should have a N/A under Civil Documents when you turn those in, You should have a N/A under Affidavit of Support and Financial Evidence, and last but not least under Affidavit of Support it will say Paid, when this goes from Paid to N/A call NVC it means you have a case complete.
