Hi everyone,

Uscis approved my visa since november, and it will be good until last date of feb..my fiancee follow it up afterwards but it takes a while before the washington responce to his email..and they said that i need to follow up it myself by calling us embassy..and so i did..and one of the staff said that they will forward my petition at nvc..and after nvc..thats the time i can do appointment for my interview...but do you guys any idea.how much time it realy takes before they will give us this nvc case number?? Do i need.to call the nvc hotline?? Or do we just need to be patience to wait??:-) any answer will be appreciated..please help me.out this guys..thank you verY much

Congrats on your petition being approved! First, know that uscis approval does not give you a visa. This is just the start to file your petition. Nvc will issue you a case number (mine took 41 days to be given from October to November of this year). You and your spouse will then have to submit paperwork to nvc before you get an interview at the embassy. Once you submit your docs to nvc they say it takes about two months to process. If everything is right, then they set up your interview. Good luck!

Update on this......we have passed the interview, had to submit CoC from two countries that I worked she worked in. The CoCs have been sent to the emabassy and we are now just waiting on the visa to be issued and the passport to be sent back to her. They had received the info via 2go courier service on Wednesday April 1, 2015. saying it takes 7 business days, so hopefully any day now we will hear back that she is approved.
