K-1 Visa Status went from AP to Ready. Now what?

Hello everyone,

I was just if someone could give me any insight on this matter. My fiance's visa interview was on 24th November. It was approved but somehow he was put under AP. On December 6 the visa status went from AP to Ready (Your Case is open for interview). Also the case creation date changed to December 6 and on top the status changed to Non Immigrant Visa. Now It has been 4 days, but there is no update.

Not sure if it means that the visa is on its way to be issued or if it is still under AP. Calling/emailing the embassy was not any help. So Can Someone please tell me how long does it take to change the status from Ready to Issued.

My case also went from AP to Ready, with the same changes you saw. Then yesterday, it changed

to Issued, and today I got a notification from the Consulate (Amsterdam, NL) that the package was

handed over to a courier and to expect its arrival tomorrow (tracking number included), so I guess

you'll see the same change soon!

06-27-14 Alien Registration Number changed 08-06-15 Welcome Notice mailed, permanent status registered.

06-30-14 NOA1 hardcopy received 08-14-15 Green Card mailed to me.

09-24-14 NOA2 text/email received *APPROVED* 08-18-15 Green Card (which is green!) in hand!!

09-28-14 NOA2 hardcopy received

10-15-14 NVC received 05-17-17 Time to start ROC !

10-16-14 NVC case number assigned

10-21-14 NVC left (to Amsterdam Consulate)

10-23-14 Consulate Received

10-25-14 PACKET-3 Received (regular mail)

10-25-14 Online DS-160 submitted **** I am the Beneficiary (Fred) ****

10-27-14 Sent reply to Consulate (arrives 10-28)

11-01-14 PACKET-4 Received (regular mail) *** from The Netherlands, send me a message !

12-04-14 INTERVIEW *APPROVED*
