I called USCIS at 5:55pm to check on the status of my case and the automated system said " if I have not receive my I-797 by September 25, 2014 to call customer service" so I pressd 3 to speak with an agent. I told him what the system said I also asked him what the difference between I-797C and I-797, "he said that they are both used as Notice of Action on a case" So he took my name, address, DOB and phone number to send a request to the Texas service center to mail me a current I-797 because I only received I-797C. " he said it could take 15 to 30 days to receive it" at the end he gave me a confirmation number. Then I googled it and it says that I-797 is the original Notice of Action and I -797C is a copy of Notice of Action ?.. Any clue what's going on guys?? By the way the agent said my case is been review.

Your NOA1 says 8/28 have you received your Hardcopy I-797C in the mail? That's what they meant back then you should have gotten in 30 days?
