2. The massive debt. our beloved President has created.

3. I would really like to thank the fools who follow the people who divide us. Are you a follower?

Do you make this up as you go or are you spoon fed this dribble because you can't think for yourself? Just curious.

1. The racial divide our president has created.

That is the one thing I am in agreement with. He had such promise on a lot of fronts: He was the pretend anti-war president. Ended up starting a number of wars himself and expanding others. He was the pretend "change" agent. He got a special low-interest loan from Countrywide, like members of the banking committee, worth millions - so the banks are doing just as well under Obama as under Bush or anyone else.

A lot of people thought electing someone with black heritage would mean greater racial harmony. But he can be just as bad a president as any other, and use race-baiting for his own political ends. He's just jumped into the fray of media-sensationalized court cases as if the executive branch had any business in judicial branch matters where juries make the decisions.

What was this "it could have been my son" business? What does it actually mean? He never spelled that out - just played the race card as if to lend the imperial presidency to one side of a matter that should be race-invisible. That is wrong for a president to do, and I am happy to criticize any other president for the same thing. This one is not exempt from that criticism just because he has some amount of black ancestry.

It is so ironic that racist laws during the time of slavery used the "one drop rule" where anyone with a scintilla of black ancestry was deemed black and without rights in slave states. You could be bought and sold. Nowadays that rule still perpetuates, but in a bizarre twist: anyone with one drop black is afforded the special privilege of minority status. If you are much more an Indian than any so-called black person, you are not afforded that special privilege unless it rises to 1/16th, 1/8th, 1/2 or even full blood to be recognized as a member of any particular Indian tribe. Why is it different depending on race? Racial equality means removing race-based distinctions. Not developing race-based mathematics of minority privilege.

If he was going to market anything at all, it should have been his mixed race heritage, including Irish, English, and Luo - that's what Tiger Wolf did. I respect that more than someone who makes part-racial heritage a full identity in order to gain advantage.

Where's this special privilege I keep hearing about? Do I need to fill out some form to get my benefits? Janelle, you know something I don't? Are you holding out on me?

Is there any particular reason you keep singling me out of the crowd?

Edit: If you invoke my name, have the courtesy in being here more than once a day at the ONLY hour no one else is participating. I know I'm asking a lot since your contributions to this thread are vast, but can you try for little ole me?
