Hi,

On July 23, 2014 I got a letter from USCIS stating that they have received my I-129F, petition for Alien Fiancee and it is now December 5th and i have yet to hear any updates on the case. I have checked the website and entered my receipt numbers and they said...

Validation Error(s)
You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:
  • At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the NCSC 1 (800) 375-5283 for additional information.

What does this exactly mean? Before USCIS update their site, it says my case is in review and now it says this. I am confused and stress out right now. I have tried calling them but i cannot get with a live person to talk to, only automation.

Please can someone tell me what i should do if any or do i have to wait a bit longer. Any responses is deeply appreciated.

Thanks

If you could :time: , it may help to answer your question better. But based on what you wrote, I would assume you're at TSC. You should be approved soon, based on trends.

It means their site hasn't worked since the beginning of November. It doesn't guarantee an approval anytime soon. My fiance and I have a July 08 notice date and have the same issue. Everyone sees the same error when trying to check a case number. One of the many TSC waiting posts have determined that USCIS hasn't pre-loaded all the old receipt numbers and statuses, and if you have an actual change on your case (RFE, approval, etc) you can suddenly see the information.

You can get around it three ways:

1. Sign up for a free account at USCIS.gov and track your receipt number

2. Call and listen to the automation system

3. Call and ask for a Tier 2 agent.

Please be aware they are apparently conducting maintenance on Sunday, December 7 from 12am - 7am EST time.
