oath ceremony waiting

I had my interview on Dec 1, 2014 at Atlanta GA, and I pssed it with congratulation marked on the notice that the officer gave me, but he said that they will send me a notification by mail about when I will attend my oath ceremony I am sure I will have adminstrative oath ceromony but why they didn't schedule me for it until now? does anyone experience the same thing? when I should expect the letter to be send?

Took them 4 days to put us in the oath ceremony queue and a month and a half to schedule the oath ceremony. Timeframe varies widely by service center, and even by individual case - basically, whose desk it's on. :rolleyes: You can go here to get some idea of typical timeframes at your service center: http://www.trackitt.com/usa-immigration-trackers/n400

There is also the background checks if they didn't get them done in time. Yes they do them after the interview I was one who waited on it.
