What if I did not file for my tax return will affect the application for my wife cr1?

Lawyer wants my 2013 tax return I did not file my tax return before will it affect for my wife cr1 application ? And it is too late to file the tax return?Please help!

Yes, you will affect. You will need to file it or provide an explanation that you were not required to file it. Yes, you can file late. That isn't a problem. Keep in mind that you will need to submit a copy of the tax return and all supporting documents if you don't have the tax transcript -- which will be available 2-3 months after filing.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
