Hello,

I am an American citizen that married a foreigner on a J-1 visa. She was not subject to the two-year home-country physical presence requirement. We are planning to apply for AOS.

My question is what paperwork is needed from my end to start the process. Yes, I have read plenty of forums on the web but I want to make sure that the process is done correctly from my end. If anybody has a breakdown that would be great.

Check at USCIS website each one of the forms mentioned on the previous post. There are instructions in one of them. Very well explained.

Check List of surgeons too ( she will need a medical exam ) :) vaccinations book from her country. Birth certificate....

Sep - 30 - 2014 - succesful early walk in biometrics ??

Nov - 22 - 2014 - EAD/AP approved ?? ( 71 days )

Nov - 24 - 2014 - card in production

Dec - 1 - 2014 - card mailed ??

Dec - 3 - 2014 - Combo card received ??

Dec - 15 - 2014 - email received with interview date for Jan 15 2015! ??
