Timeline

I was able to get 864 withdrawn before green card was adjudicated, so her asperations of going to federal court were sqashed. But, she still had a free lawyer for the divorce. They kept me busy going to court for nonsense.

At least you dodged the bullet on getting sued base on I-864. :)

I-134 filed during K-1 visa is non legal binding.

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

That works well when both parties are paying for attorneys. There isn;t as much of an incentive to settle when her attorney fees are being paid by someone else. Which is what hapoened in my case.

Its a shame that some states still allow this type of BS to occur.
