I work for an oil gas technology company in inside sales. We have a duplicate office in Dallas, and I'd like to transfer on an L1B visa after a year of being with the company. I've read that you're now able to apply at the port of entry in Calgary international airport.

Any suggestions on what I should do to enhance my chances of going through this process successfully once my year is up with the company? My boss has already said she would help if a position opens after I've been there a year.

I know it's early, but I like to plan ahead.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!!

Michael
