I was always told that no warnings/reminders/letters would be sent to let us know when it was time to file. Even my POE officer made sure to remind me I was on my own and needed to remember to file during my 90 day window. I put that date in my calendar back when I first did my POE so it would pop up to remind me in case I somehow forgot between then and now.

Needless to say, I opened the mail today to find 3 letters for myself and the kids. Each one (found this funny) saying that we needed to provide evidence that the marriage was entered legitimately etc and to prove that we are still together and with a list of suggested documents. I found it funny because the kids' letters were the exact same as mine regarding their marriages apparently :rofl:

It was kinda nice to receive the letters because it made me feel like OK, I'm still in their system. They know I exists here still. It also was nice to see the final bit saying that the interview may be waived if the evidence if sufficient enough to prove that it is a "good faith" marriage.

My package is just about ready to go. I have a few more pieces to add but it will be ready well in advance of my window opening up in a few weeks.

Just make sure to file after the window openes. Some people when they recieve the reminder they think their window already opened.

day 43-- 05/23/2012-- Notice for an interview is received for 06/26 @ 2pm

day 63-- 06/12/2012-- Received a Text & email for an update- Card production EAD/AP

day 77-- 06/26/2012-- interview / approved on the spot.

day 86-- 07/05/2012-- Received my GC in the mail.

ROC

day 1 -- 04/07/2014 -- ROC Package delivered to VSC

day 16 -- 04/23/2014 -- Walk-in Bio.

day 197 -- 10/20/2014-- Approval Letter received dated 10/16/2014

day 202 -- 10/25/2014-- GC received

nothing to worry. i also got similar letters.

actually when my son got admission in college, they verified immi status with USCIS and somebody called my son from USCIS asking all these questions and told that later you need to apply for ROC.

Yep, we got letters also, many folks do.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

same here, was actually surprised as i wasn't expecting one...but i had the ROC in the back of my head.

Day 11/14 Mailed AOS Package

Day 11/16 AOS Package Accepted

Day 11/20 Received Text with receipt numbers

Day 11/21 Checks cashed

Day 11/26 -Letter for Biometrix - its on 12/20

Day 12/20/ went to do biometrics, turn away as wife has a cut on thumb - will try to walk in next week

Day 12/28 - bio metrics done ! - walked in San Diego as we were visiting my in laws.

Day 1/4/2013 - received text/email that case is ready to be scheduled for interview !

Day 1/15/2013 - received hard copy letter to let us know interview is on 2/12 !

Day 1/17/2013 - received text/email that EAD has been approved

Day 1/26/2013 - received EAD card

Day 2/12 - interview done - approved on spot!
