when can i pay for my visa?

Hi guys,

We are at NVC now, waiting for our status to be changed to ''in transit'' and then ''ready''.. When can i pay for my visa? can i do it now? or do i have to wait until i get my package 3?

You need to wait. I just received my packet three from the Consulate in Greece, and even there the fee was not listed, so you probably have to pay it when they send you packet four.

But some people on here paid it as soon as they got their case number..

This depends on the consulate. Each one has different requirements and procedures. What works for one, does not mean it will work for another.
