At what stage did you get your police certificate?

I have to go through the awful process of waiting for a police certificate from Japan since I lived there for 2 years. I applied for that in person in Edinburgh on the 30th October, just a while after I received NOA2, though I did have to get my fingerprints done for that too which caused a delay in applying for it. I should have it in my hand at the end of December/early January fingers crossed, which is when I can tell London I'm ready.

I'll apply for my UK certificate now because I might as well, but until I get that police certificate from Japan I can't do much else.

Yeah, I was just sharing my experience on when I got my police certificate more than anything . Now I know that's possible, that's my plan!
