Well that's great. Have him file away asap as the day they receive your petition your age is frozen.

Ah okay I guess 20 years old is still qualified for IR2 visa.. But yeah hopefully it will take no more than 6 months to receive the petition :( Thanks for the responses though, I appreciate it very much :)

Don't worry, your age is frozen since the day they receive the mail with your petition, It takes 6 months for them to review it and send a decision, I was worried about that too, I'm already 21 and my category hasn't changed because I was petitioned when I was 20.
