Well, it took 7 hours, but my fiancee's visa has been approved! Thanks to everyone for your help and big thanks to Hank for his website.

Now we play the waiting game. Hopefully we can get it in two weeks before my birthday. :dancing:

Congratulations..

Was that 6 working days? Or 6 days (including weekend days?).

Our interview is 11-25-14 (tuesday). I've only got two weeks off work, so I have to get back onto a plane 12-6-14 (Saturday). I was under the understanding that if they approved the Visa after your interview....that they will send the Visa within 3 days? Am I wrong in thinking this? And is there a way that I can just pick up the Visa at the Embassy? We'll be staying about 15 minutes away from the Embassy, and I've already selected to pickup her Visa at the Mall of Asia courier service outlet. Is there anyway to request they just have it available for us at the Embassy for pickup?

Thanks! And congratulations to the OP!!! =D

My interview was Monday and the courier deliver it on Saturday.. I don't think you're allowed to pick it up at the embassy. That's why they have courier. To deliver it to you. Also, I'm not sure if they release visa 3 days after your interview..

You are wrong. The interview is not issuance. Once the visa is issued then it is normally 7-10 days for delivery. No you can not pick up the visa at the embassy. MOA is the quickest option.
