My fiancee flew in at 8am yesterday and had no issues on POE... plane landed at 8am and she already claimed her baggage and was out of the airport at 8:45am... even I was surprised how fast it was. Maybe coz it was a Sunday.

Anyway, I would like to thank everyone who provided guidance and assistance throughout the whole K1 process. This site has saved me hundreds of dollars in attorney fees and allowed me to gain a better idea of how the whole process works and have more control over it - something I couldn't have learned if I had an attorney doing everything.

K1 visa journey is done... now to get married and start a whole new journey. Thanks again to everyone, especially Hank, who has become our virtual consultant... without the fees ;)

Good luck to everyone else who are still in the middle of the K1 process... everything will work out in good time, and I know how you feel coz I've been there!

All the best. Florence had her interview in Manila on the 28th of Oct, but we are still waiting for her passport. Any one has a clue why could it be so late, or what should we do to expedite it.

Yours has been 11 business days, they say 5-7 but sometimes they get held up for "administrative processing" not to mention delivery delays. I replied to you on another thread about this but it should come any day to you now, I hope you get it soon. My fiance was just approved yesterday and we are also waiting for her to get her visa, but it has only been 1 business day there now so far. I am also anxious to see when she gets hers.

My fiance had her USEM interview on 10/14, and it was in "Administrative Processing" for 9 days before it came up as "Issued" on http://ceac.state.gov... then she received it from 2GO on 10/28... have you checked the status of your fiance's visa from that site? Visa status wait times vary for a variety of reasons, and I can relate how stressful it can be waiting for it to come out of AP thinking there might be something we missed...

Also remember that 11/11 was Veteran's Day in the USA so the status won't get updated for at least one day... Good luck and hope you get it soon!

No one can explain delays or how soon you will receive your passport with visa. Having said that, a bit of advice, have more patience. Remember this is not a race but a marathon. Hang in there, you'll soon be rewarded.

P.S. At this time calling USEM will not help nor should you as you will be tying up the phone lines for someone else who is at a point in their journey who needs answers to keep their process moving.
